I often find myself looking to moments of the past to understand what might be my future in an attempt to ground and centre myself in today.

In creating this book I look to make sense of the spaces where the individual experience meets the shared, how the two do or don’t overlap and how the capturing, sharing and viewing of photographs contributes to the way we navigate and perceive our own identity.

At its core, this photobook is a reflection on and letter of love to the constant, complex and ever evolving myriad of thoughts and emotions experienced through life. A visual ode to the people, moments and environments that have played a part in forming who I understand myself to be.

It’s something familiar that I can’t quite remember.
